LOBEXS AD TWO |
Been on this line long? Yeah, me too. I go through it every semester. It's like a
ritual. Almost like going to classes. Yeah, school just wouldn't seem the same
without it. That's why I got the cooler, the iPod, the stack of magazines, the
lawn chair. Four hours, five hours, what do I care? I make it like a tail gate
party. I tried to get all my friends to come, but NOOOO! They're too good for
bookstore-wait-in-line parties now. They're all using this new website Lobexs.com Lobexs.com. They all think it's so cool. They deal directly with other students instead of the campus bookstore. Big deal. They claim they get better prices that way when they buy and when they sell because they cut out the bookstore markup. Big deal! They tell me that Lobexs.com is free and easy to use and all you have to do is register. Big deal! It's good to see that at least some of us still understand what tradition is all about. Yeah, I mean who cares if we pay three times as much to buy used books as we get when we sell them, right? My friends act like it's a big deal they've got all this extra money now, doing it from their home computers so they've got plenty of time to go out and spend it, too. Like I'm supposed to get jealous or something, but there's some things more important than money, right? Hey! Where you going? Yeah, Lobexs.com. That's the name. No, not you too? Doesn't anybody care about tradition any more? BACK TO ADS AND COMMERCIALS PAGE BACK TO HOME PAGE |
